About Bay Street Games

On June 12th, 2024, Capitalize for Kids will host the 7th Annual Bay Street Games – the ultimate fitness competition between Bay Street firms. Co-ed teams of six will face off in a series of fitness challenges and at the end of the day, the winning team will be crowned as Bay Street's Fittest Firm! Your team of six must have at least two females, and commit to raising at least $6,000. The athletic activities have been designed to be accessible while still challenging for all participants. They require the combined efforts of the whole team – encouraging co-operation and team building. We expect 60 teams with 360 participants to take part in the games with the goal of raising $450,000 in support of the Capitalize for Kids Foundation and our efforts to build capacity at kids’ mental health service providers across Canada. We need your help to get there.

what we support

Kids' Mental Health

Kids are reaching out for mental health support more than ever. According to the Mental Health Commission of Canada, an estimated 1.2 million Canadian children and youth struggle with serious mental health issues. While the demand for support is increasing, mental health service providers are struggling to keep up.

Active Philanthropy

At Capitalize for Kids, we support the kids' mental health agencies with targeted solutions. We work closely with agencies to increase their capacity and reduce waitlists to help more kids get access to care sooner. We combine internal consultants, external pro-bono support and capital to solve real problems for mental health service providers.

The Community

Capitalize for Kids began in 2014 as a charitable investors conference. Today, we are a growing community of financial services professionals rallying our friends, families and firms to support kids’ mental health. To date, we have raised over $18 million for our beneficiaries. By supporting Bay Street Games, you are creating a positive impact on kids’ mental health.
