Kids are reaching out for mental health support more than ever. According to the Mental Health Commission of Canada, an estimated 1.2 million Canadian children and youth struggle with serious mental health issues. While the demand for support is increasing, mental health service providers are struggling to keep up.
At Capitalize for Kids, we support the kids' mental health agencies with targeted solutions. We work closely with agencies to increase their capacity and reduce waitlists to help more kids get access to care sooner. We combine internal consultants, external pro-bono support and capital to solve real problems for mental health service providers.
Capitalize for Kids began in 2014 as a charitable investors conference. Today, we are a growing community of financial services professionals rallying our friends, families and firms to support kids’ mental health. To date, we have raised over $18 million for our beneficiaries. By supporting Bay Street Games, you are creating a positive impact on kids’ mental health.
